TO MY ATTRACTION

The male stoic stranger starts
           Finding me only,
When cuckoos, in his Spring,
            Sing melodiously.

Then the sun makes him spirited
            Horse with tension,
And compels him to find out
            My destination.

When the full moon smiles at night
          During his Spring,
The flute in his heart for me
          Continues playing.

Having failed to find me in the
      Green of nature,
His tension for gaining my sweet touch
          Grows higher.

At that time, I bloom like a flower
        Very nicely,
And the stoic stranger gets
          My touch finally.

Man in life, desires youth,
And age never.
So, everyone likes to be
Young forever.

When the bud gets youth,
It turns a flower,
Then the bee, to collect honey,
Goes to her.
The wreat also receives it
With pleasure-
So,everyone likes to be young forever.

The dried brook gets youth
In the rainy season,
When fish and boats,
Make with it relation.
But, they don't favour it
In the Summer-
So, everyone likes to be young forever.

Youth gives the excitement
Of life fully,
And life in it can be
Enjoyed sweetly.
But, age is full of anxiety
And care-
So, everyone likes to be young forever.

To have both worlds

And peace and prosperity

     For telling,
And a power to move
    Without fearing.

In my life, it is
   The shore of ocean,
And the song bird of truth
    In the open.

Independence is
     My cradle to swing.
And the spirited wave
     Of developing.

It is my gem which
      Is incomparable,
And the lap of my
       Mother of Bengal.

     From the other.
It comes from the good
     Work and character.

To honou men
      Higher in rank dully,
Is the best way to get
       Blessing easily.

By helping disabled men
        And the poor.
One must get the blessing
        Of the Creator.

Using abusive language
         With the people,
Make a man's life full of
          Curse after all.

Blessing comes to remove
       The world's darkness,
If avarice and hatred
          Are shunned always.

Thinking others as self and
         Self for others,
Brings blessing on the earth
           For such thinkers.

Being firm like the mountain
           For truth and just,
One gets the ceaseless blessing
             From all must.

The man who cordially loves
              All creatures,
Gets, from them, blessings that
       Beautify his life as flowers.

Contributing to lore and
           Society,
Blesses a man with
            Immortality.

Misjudging Bengali,  you often speak
         English, though imperfectly, 
And every year hold the Twenty First
         February very sincerely.

It is you who always favour the Hindi
         And English songs most,
And thinking it as a fashion, you take
         A pride in it no doubt.

You inserted some English and Latin
        Words in Bengali sentence,
And thus, Bengali becomes empty
        Rhetoric by your prudence.

As a language, our Bengali is,
      Of course, ever glorious,
And never we need to borrow
       Any other foreign words.

Being a Bengali, speaking foreign
      Language by you is, as though,
The crow tries to change its harsh
      Voice into the tune of the cuckoo.

Live peacefully and happily with
     Good taste in Bengal always,
And speak Bengali language.
       Spontaneously with rejoice.

As a language, Bengali in the world
        Is no less favourite,
Yet, are you ashamed of speaking
         Such a rich language as it?

Uphold the honour of Bengali and
        Love it after your heart,
  And it should be your oath today,
      The February twenty first.
