And my happiness,
It leads me to the path of right and
Shows me the light of success.
Bengali is the medium of my song,
Prayer and recitation,
By praying with cry in Bengali to God
I can move his throne.
In Bengali, I read, write, learn, dream
And practise meditation,
I also hear, weep and laugh in it and
Get full satisfaction.
Bengali is my spirit, beauty, assistance
And my expression,
By making a speech in Bengali I can
Draw people's attraction.
Bengali is my companion, adventure,
Love, life and soul,
